Bone-safe Pilates-Sculpt-Stretch

Description:  This full-body work-out is for those looking to tone up, gain strength, increase flexibility and improve posture and balance. We incorporate Pilates movements to build core strength and tone muscles and use research-backed techniques to safely strengthen bones and increase joint mobility. We also use therapeutic and functional movements to stretch and improve our balance and posture.

The exercises and equipment used vary:  body weight resistance, small hand weights, elastic bands, magic circles and foam rollers, which will be provided.

 

This workout is safe, medically-endorsed and adaptable to varying levels. If you have

bone and joint concerns, including issues like osteoporosis, osteopenia, or back and neck pain, this is the class for you.

But the workout is great for everyone!
Limited to 10 participants maximum - No shoes, wear comfortable clothes.

Instructor: Anna Barnet, a former ballet dancer, is a certified ACE (American Council on Exercise) group fitness instructor as well as a “Buff Bones®” instructor.
